The Mission

The Ski and Snowboard Instructors Club develops leadership and instructor skills through learning and teaching the basic concepts of skiing and snowboarding to children and members of the West Point Communiy. Each cadet instructor is certified by ASIA, the Amateur Ski Instructors Association, and volunteers their time to teach throughout the winter season. Additionally, select members of the club also have an AASI, American Association of Snowboard Instructors, or PSIA, Professional Ski Instructors Association, professional teaching certification. The club teaches lessons at Victor Constant Monday through Thursdays. Each season the club takes their major training trip over President’s Day Weekend.
