The Respect committee’s purpose is to foster a commitment to moral and ethical excellence essential to leaders of character for our military and nation. Our mission is to educate the Corps of Cadets on equal opportunity, gender issues, and alcohol and drug abuse prevention; advise cadet commanders in providing a positive command climate. We are involved in the Respect and Addic classes, Ethnic Observance months, and the Mentorship Program. We help organize the National Conference on Ethics in America at West Point, and we attend the National Bacchus and Gamma Conference on peer education on drug and alcohol issues.
