In Charge The Mission
The members of the Cadet Glee Club are West Point’s musical ambassadors,
performing throughout the United States and abroad. The Glee Club
travels extensively, presenting concerts in towns large and small,
in local schools and churches, or in renowned concert halls. The Glee
Club is frequently called upon for high-profile appearances at events
which are part of the fabric of our national life: presidential library
events; commemoration ceremonies such as the one at Ground Zero on
9/11/02; and sporting events such as the American Baseball League
play-offs at Yankee Stadium, the NIT Finals at Madison Square Garden,
and the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, AZ. The camaraderie enjoyed by the members
in their pursuit of performance excellence is best summed up in the
Club’s time-honored motto: “No fun without music, no music without
fun! |
