In Charge The Mission The
West Point French Club is composed of Francophile and Fracophone cadets
of all fluency levels. Cadets dine at our weekly tables francaises.
West Point is one of only two foreign institutions ever to have been
awarded the National Order of the Legion dHonneur. This is Frances
highest civilian decoration, founded by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802,
to recognize eminent service to the Republic of France. On July 14,
2002 the club marched in Paris up the Champs Elysees with the French
military. We are the first American soldiers to do so since 1945! |
