West Point's radio station, WKDT, broadcasts on FM 89.3. The station airs musical entertainment, news, Army sports, and command information programs. Most daily programming originates from the Soldiers Radio Satellite Network. The network provides contemporary music and hourly newscasts such as the Army Pentagon Newsbreak and Armed Forces Digest. Local programming includes special music formats and local command information. Cadet members of the WKDT radio club provide most evening and weekend programming. The radio station provides them with management and DJ opportunities. It is located in Bldg. 671A, Benet Hall; call 938-4567/2127.
